Marktkapelle zum Hl. Florian

Der Heilige wird nicht nur in Feuergefahr und Wassernot angerufen, sondern ist auch der Patron der Feuerwehren, Bierbrauer und Schmiede, die in Hainfeld stark vertreten waren.

Wohl wegen der in Hainfeld besonders durch die ansässigen Gewerbe großen Feuergefahr,  wurde der Hl. Florian als Patron der Stadt erwählt.

Der Brand Hainfelds 1945 zerstörte die Kapelle aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. 1946 wurde sie in neuer Form komplett wieder aufgebaut. Heute dient die Florianikapelle als Ausgangspunkt für Umzüge und Messen bei kirchlichen Festtagen. Zu Ehren des Stadtpatrons wird zu dessen Gedenktag, dem 4. Mai, der Florianikirtag in Hainfeld veranstaltet.

The saint is not only invoked in times of fire and water shortages, but is also the patron saint of firefighters, brewers, and blacksmiths, who were heavily represented in Hainfeld.

Probably because of the high fire risk in Hainfeld, particularly due to the local businesses, St. Florian was chosen as the town's patron saint.

The fire in Hainfeld in 1945 destroyed the 18th-century chapel. It was completely rebuilt in a new form in 1946. Today, St. Florian's Chapel serves as the starting point for processions and masses on religious holidays. In honor of the town's patron saint, the St. Florian Fair is held in Hainfeld on his memorial day, May 4th.
